I just dinged 99 with my BST, and am now looking into gearing up, and upgrading the various armor sets. Part of that is doing Dynamis, Abyssea and other areas. I originally quit shortly before Abyssea came out, so never got to experience the proc'ing system as it pertains to that.
To put my question in context of an example, let's say that I'm farming Dynamis-Valkrum with my BST (with pet and trusts out). How does the proc'ing system work?
Do I need to go kill TE mobs to get it to work? Can the various activities from my trusts impact the procs?
Can they screw up procs?
Can I only proc on certain mobs, such as NMs, or on any mob?
Do I proc once per mob, and that's it, or does the mob need to die while the proc is "up"?
How do these procs differ from the procs that I'll need to do when I start farming Abyssea?
